In the Creativhotel Luise in Erlangen, a green roof terrace was also designed during the renovation. Here you can make yourself comfortable with a cool drink, and if you want to go even higher, you can climb the staircase up to the viewing platform on which the alpine pine tree from the topping-out (construction competition) ceremony is enthroned – probably the tallest tree in Erlangen! – here you can enjoy the fantastic view over the Bavarian city.

Rainforest from above

Instead of a night in a hotel, how about spending the night 22 meters above the ground in a treehouse in the Peruvian rainforest? The Inkaterra Canopy Tree House borders the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway at Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica, where you walk through the treetops of the Amazon rainforest. You will stroll over suspension bridges and from the towers and platforms, you will experience the fascinating natural and animal world. Keep an eye out for toucans and colorful feathered trogons and monkeys. And if you spend the night in the treehouse, you can take a night walk along the Canopy Walkway and fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle.
