If you want to experience Balinese culture authentically, but don’t want to miss out on the comfort of an eco-luxury resort, Puri Dajuma in the west of Bali is the place for you.
HARMONY WITH THE DIVINE, NATURE, AND MANKIND
The resort was founded by a French family who fell in love with the beautiful nature & diverse culture of Bali. The contact with Indra, a Balinese young man from Lambok, was groundbreaking for the development of the Puri Dajuma project. Because the cooperation with Bali’s population and the anchoring of the Balinese culture in the philosophy of the hotel was of central importance from the beginning. The Balinese philosophy “Tri Hita Karana Karana” stands on 3 holy principles: Harmony with the divine, nature, and people. Here one can feel that the connection to the Balinese traditions is not only made up or artificial but is lived.
LOCAL, SUSTAINABLE & AUTHENTIC
The hotel consists of 18 traditional cottages, 2 suites, and a luxury villa. They all have in common the mixture of authentic Balinese elements with the highest modern comfort. The accommodations were built primarily with local building materials and in cooperation with local construction companies. Also, for the furnishing, high-quality furniture and decorative elements from local manufacturers were used. In the hotel’s restaurant “Rama” you can taste the delicious variety of Balinese and Asian cuisine. The organic vegetables and freshly caught fish come directly from the immediate environment of the hotel.
HARMONY FOR BODY & MIND
Puri Dajuma is the ideal place to unwind. Here you can leave all the stress of everyday life behind and dive into a tropical oasis of peace. If you choose to stay in a suite, you can relax in a hammock on your terrace or enjoy your private Jacuzzi. On the beach, there is also something very special for all other guests: a beach pavilion where you can get a massage with natural oils in the middle of paradise scenery. Extended walks along the endless sandy beaches also contribute to more balance and peace. And how about a yoga session? In Hindu culture, it is said that yoga restores the harmony of the body and mind.

A PARADISE OF EXOTIC FLOWERS & FRUITS
Bali is also called the island of the gods & goddesses. Whoever has visited the island before knows why. A variety of tropical flowers and blossoms grow here. With temperatures around 28°C and extremely high humidity, nature sprouts. Also, exotic fruits like coconuts, bananas, vanilla beans, and cocoa beans grow wonderfully here. Especially on the west coast, you will discover many places where nature is still untouched. Grab a bike or motorcycle and go on a discovery tour, because there is also a lot to see in the immediate surroundings of the resort. The resort also offers guided bike tours. For example, a tour leads along rice fields to the House of Jegog (the traditional music of West Bali), the holy Temple Rambut Siwi, and a local market.
FOLLOWING IN THE FOOTPRINTS OF THE ISLAND GODS
If you would like to get closer to the Balinese culture in an authentic way, there are numerous possibilities.
