Yoga outdoors feels different than yoga in a studio. The sand or forest floor beneath your feet, the fresh air, and the sounds of nature can transform your practice. Whether it’s under pine trees by the sea in Croatia, with a view of the Dolomites, or on a rooftop terrace overlooking the Atlantic—many Green Pearls® hotels are places where yoga and nature converge.

Did you know? Studies show that being active outdoors can reduce stress and promote well-being. Especially on vacation, many people find it easier to consciously unwind, let go of their routines, and take time for exercise, deep breathing, and rest.

Hotels with daily yoga programs

OCEANO Health Spa Hotel – Tenerife, Spain

Located on Tenerife, right on the Atlantic Ocean, the OCEANO Health Spa Hotel enjoys pleasantly long summers. Here, yoga is practiced in the light-filled studio or on the rooftop terrace, accompanied by sea breezes and sweeping ocean views. During the summer, guests can enjoy the outdoor morning program, “Awakening by the Sea.” In addition to yoga, the program includes fitness, stretching, and relaxation exercises.

Tip: The OCEANO is a great choice for solo (female) travelers. If you’re planning to travel alone, you’ll find plenty of like-minded people here.

The adults-only LA VIMEA Vegan Hotel in Naturns offers plant-based cuisine and a focus on relaxation and mindfulness. One particular highlight in summer: the outdoor yoga deck surrounded by greenery. Set amidst a garden, natural swimming pond, and mountain backdrop, daily yoga sessions take place here and come included with your stay.
The yoga program (back yoga, Hatha yoga, or yoga flow) begins as early as 7:15 a.m. and lasts until 8:30 a.m., and silent and sound meditations, mindfulness walks, and Yin yoga are offered in the evening.

ADLER Lodge RITTEN – South Tyrol, Italy

A new highlight awaits here: In 2026, the ADLER Lodge RITTEN built a new yoga pavilion nestled in the heart of the South Tyrolean mountains. Thanks to its large, openable windows, the indoor and outdoor spaces blend together seamlessly, keeping nature ever-present.

“Many yoga sessions are also moved outdoors in the summer,” reports the hotel. Daily sessions featuring elements of Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin Yoga, and Ashtanga are offered. The “Yoga Morning Stretch” is offered from 7:30 to 8:20 a.m. Advance registration is required, and the session is free of charge.
